An update of Craig..

Well I’m back! The life of Craig has been really busy these past few months, and I decided not to update my blog until my little brother did. Since he has updated his blog it was time for me to update mine, There is this thing going around face book about 25 random things about me. I’ve decided to just post my 25 random things about me up on my blog. I give my fellow blog readers 25 random facts about Craig Lifferth….

1)Anyone who knows me knows that I DO NOT shop! I can’t stand hanging around the mall and shopping for stuff I already own. I once went with Daren shopping and spent little less than two hours in the same store!! Yeah, I will not be shopping with Daren anytime soon.

2) I am a die hard Utah Jazz fan. If there is a game on, I will most likely be watching it.

3) I once had a job interview and they asked me for my greatest strength. I quickly told them that my good looks were my greatest strength. They wouldn’t stop laughing for ten minutes. They really wanted to know more and I told them that was all. I guess my greatest strength wasn’t too good, because I didn’t get the job. Daren told me to say it and he guaranteed I would get the job. I still take advice from Daren.

4)I really don’t like snakes. I have never held one and I don’t plan on holding one anytime soon.

5)I love the Discovery and History channel. That is basically all that I watch on TV.

6)It drives me crazy when buffets only offer one type of Jell-O.

7) I believe the worst part about Raisin Bran is the bran. Hands down.

8) The Golden Girls is and will continue to be the best show on TV.

9) Only once in my 25 years of life not made it to the restroom. I was running and didn’t make it on time and there was a surprise in my pants. My body couldn’t hold it in any longer.

10) I once sat next to a guy on a bus who wet his pants really bad. Once we arrived at the bus stop he asked me if he could use my jacket to cover up his mess. I told him “Sorry, I just don’t want to smell like pee.” I left my companion on the bus with his wet pants.

11) I’ve only cried once in a movie and that was with Homeward Bound. You have to cry with Shadow runs over the hill back to his master. It still gets me today.

12) Last movie I saw was Confessions of a Shopaholic. Zach came with me. We both found it very entertaining.

13) I was an All-state dodge ball player in High School.

14) When I was 24 I received a Tickle me Elmo X. The tenth year edition from my mom. I still have it in my apartment and push it just to see him laugh and roll on the floor.

15) I live with the motto of “Life off Game on” for video games. I play Xbox to relax from a day of work or play.

16) I’m a sucker for musicals. I’ve always wanted to play as a Newsie in Newsies. I have the whole soundtrack memorized and the dances too.

17) I’ve seen my younger brother kiss my best friend on accident. Yeah, it was really funny watching it happen.

18) I want to marry my stalker

19) I might have a man crush on Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs.

20)In fifth grade I was waiting outside of school for my mom to pick me up. While I was waiting, these punk teenagers drove next to me and threw snowballs at me. One of them hit me in the chest and the other in the crotch. I cried for ten minutes. First and only time I was picked on while growing up.

21) I'd grow a beard but I really don't have the time to do so.

22) I was backpacking in Havasupai and took the wrong turn and hiked around the village twice. I added another few extra miles to my hike out of the canyon. Its about a ten mile hike out, it took me 12 miles to hike out.

23) I don’t drink soda. I’m all about the water or fruit drinks.

24) I would totally play and participate in the lottery, if I could choose the balls.

25) I wear Velcro shoes because I don’t like tying my shoes.

There you all go. I just finished my 25 facts about me. Any questions please feel free to email me.

Later,

Craig

So Good, So Good

Well here I am. Yeah, I know it has been too long! I have been really busy finishing up school and graduating. So it's official. I have finished my undergraduate and now it's off to Harvard for grad school. Enough about me, let me start about my last few weeks. Nothing really has happened other than seeing NEIL DIAMOND last weekend. It was a family affair and our whole family went. I was understandably emotional and somehow my pants became wet during the whole concert.
I was told from a not Neil Diamond fan that I had to stop yelling, so she could enjoy the show. Well Brother Neil said there are not any rules at his concert, other than have fun. That is exactly that is what we did! Just remember there are two kinds of people in the world; those who like Neil Diamond and those who don't.
Now lets talk about the first annual Neck and Nog. Yeah, it was just a blast!! Good times shared by all. There was marshmallows for toasting, and caroling out in the snow. There'll be scary ghost stories, and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago. It's the most wonderful time of the year!! Here are the games that we played at the neck and nog. Like they always say, If in doubt, just incest your way out! Enjoy the video clips of the first annual Neck and Nog!
Merry Christmas to all!!

Completos

This past weekend we decided to make some completos, so we ran over to Zach's house to borrow his Hot Dog cooker. Ran over to Smiths and bought all the food that we needed. I just love Zach! I don't care if the world knows it. Zach is such a nice guy. It seems that I'm always borrowing things from him, and he is always willing to let me borrow what I need. Thanks Zach!! Well, we recorded our little experience of making these Chilean Hot Dogs also known as Completos. Sit back and enjoy our little video clips..

Just another Tuesday....NOT!!!

I woke up early this morning to vote. Yeah, it was 6:30 AM and I got it done at 7:10. First time ever voting for a president. I was in and out, I'm a little tried now but if I can do it, so can YOU! My Grandmother would put on her coat and start the walk to Fortine every election day to VOTE! Lets just say she is pretty amazing, and someone who showed that she loves this country. If you have already voted, stay around and read these fun facts about The United States. If you haven't voted yet, stop reading my blog and go do it! Enjoy the Facts....

On a Canadian two dollar bill, the flag flying over the Parliament Building is an American flag.

On an American one-dollar bill, there is an owl in the upper left-hand corner of the "1" encased in the "shield" and a spider hidden in the front upper right-hand corner.

One in every 4 Americans has appeared on television.

In Los Angeles, there are fewer people than there are automobiles.

The United States Government keeps its supply of silver at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.
The United States has never lost a war in which mules were used.

52% of Americans drinkcoffee.

27% of Americans believe we never landed on the moon.

A Californian doctor has set the record of eating 17 bananas in two minutes.

Approximately 35 million Americans are linked by blood to one (or more) of the 102 pilgrims who came to America on the Mayflower in 1620.

There are five US states with no sales tax. They are: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon.

Alaska is the state with the highest percentage of people who walk to work.

It was once illegal to take a bath in the wintertime in Indiana.

Ohio is the birthplace of more Presidents than any other state - eight.

Rhode Island is the smallest US state in size.

New Amsterdam, Indiana is the smallest city in the U.S., they have a population of 1. (6-04) ( I wonder how long they stood in line to vote?)

Louisiana has 2,482 islands, covering nearly 1.3 million acres.

The states with the smallest populations are: Alaska, North Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN....

So here we are. The one time of year when playing “Monster Mash” is socially acceptable. The only time of year that I really only listen to "Thriller" more than once. Where the theme is pumpkin this or pumkin that. Plus there are the costumes. A celebration of how we spend the whole year telling our kids to be themselves, and then spend a whole month preparing them to be someone else.

Do you want to know what the real menace of Halloween night is? Candy! No, not because some psychopath is giving out Almond Joys full of who knows what. I'm talking about the regular old tooth-rotting candy. The only real monsters you’ll see this Halloween is a little thing I call tooth decay and cavities (Karalee especially should know what I'm talking about)! Have a safe and wonderful Halloween, and don't forget to brush little longer tonight and Saturday morning. Karalee I'll be checking up on you personally.

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

School is going great and I'm right on schedule for graduation this December, work is awesome, and I just got back from Moab. Fall break was a lot of fun and Jen has all the pictures so just check out her blog when she updates it. This picture to the left is from my mission. I just wanted you guys to take a look at it. Anyways, I just thought I would let everyone know that we (as in my family) got our tickets to go see Brother Neil Diamond!! Yeah, I'm pretty much the happiest man! This will be my second time seeing Neil Diamond, and I can't wait. I just thought I would let everyone know about my newest and greatest adventure that awaits me.

Family pictures and September fun...

Welcome back! A lot has happened these last few weeks. I really don't know how to get everyone caught up with my life. Lets start out with our family pictures. We took apartment pictures last Sunday for our apartment. They turned out very nice. I need to take the time to thank Jen and Karalee. They came up the canyon and helped us take out photo shoot. Daren and Colter were in heaven! They had no problem taking pictures of themselves, and Daren gave us all pointers for taking pictures. We ended up blowing up two of the pictures to a 16x20, and six individual 8x10 pictures. Take the time to see the video of our apartment. Here are the extra pictures we didn't use but they still are amazing.

The other night, the phone book company dropped off a few phone books around Raintree. Eric told us about a trick they did on MythBusters. They had two phone books and put them together just like the picture below. We tried the myth ourselves, and so we started flipping every other page and we ended up with a book similar to the one below. I recorded a clip of us trying to pull them apart. We couldn't pull them apart so we decided to hang from the two books. We wanted to try it from the third floor, but thought it would be better to try it from the second floor. The picture is Daren hanging from a phone book. Pretty cool huh?
